4. Email Communications
Eventik sends only transactional emails that are directly triggered by your actions or by events tied to your account. These include:

- Password reset requests — only when you request one
- Login and security notifications — only when a security event occurs
- Course enrollment confirmations — sent at the moment of enrollment
- Learning progress updates and reminders — at most once per week, opt-out anytime
- Certificate delivery upon course completion — sent once when you complete a course
We do not send marketing campaigns, promotional newsletters, or unsolicited messages. All emails are sent from admin@eventik.biz.id. You can stop receiving non-critical notifications at any time through our Unsubscribe page or by deleting your account.
5. How Your Email Is Added to Our List (Consent & Mailing List Management)
We only send email to addresses that have been explicitly provided by their owner during account registration on https://eventik.biz.id. We do not purchase, rent, scrape, or import email lists from any third party.
- Single opt-in at registration: When you create an account, you must check a consent box and confirm ownership of your email address by entering a one-time code (OTP) sent to that address. Only verified addresses are added to our active sending list.
- Consent record: We store the timestamp, IP address, and user agent associated with your consent, so we can prove that you opted in.
- Removal from the list: You can remove yourself from non-critical sending categories at any time using the Unsubscribe page, by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by deleting your account. Removal takes effect within minutes and is permanent unless you re-opt-in.
- No re-engagement of inactive users: Accounts that have been inactive for 12 months are automatically excluded from non-critical sending until the user logs in again.
6. Bounce, Complaint, and Suppression Handling
To protect recipients and maintain a healthy sender reputation, Eventik continuously monitors delivery results from our email service provider (Amazon Simple Email Service, "SES") and applies the following rules automatically:
- Hard bounces (the recipient address does not exist or is permanently undeliverable) are added to our suppression list immediately and are never emailed again, in line with the SES global and account-level suppression mechanism.
- Soft bounces (temporary issues such as a full mailbox) are retried a limited number of times. After repeated failures, the address is added to suppression.
- Complaints (when a recipient marks our message as spam through their mail provider's feedback loop) are treated as an immediate unsubscribe. The address is added to suppression and excluded from all future sending — both critical and non-critical.
- Manual unsubscribes made via the Unsubscribe page or via the unsubscribe link in any email are processed in real time and synced to the SES account-level suppression list.
- Monitoring & review: Our team reviews bounce and complaint metrics weekly. If a sustained spike is detected, we pause non-critical sending until the root cause has been resolved.
- Reporting an issue: If you ever receive an email from us that you did not sign up for, please report it to admin@eventik.biz.id and we will investigate within 48 hours.
7. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the services you signed up for.
- Legitimate interest — to keep the platform secure and improve user experience.
